Structure of Well-Type Tempering Furnace

The well-type tempering furnace is mainly composed of a furnace shell, furnace lining, heating elements, furnace pot, air guide cylinder, furnace cover, furnace cover lifting and rotating (or translating) system, circulating fan, and other components. The heating system controls the temperature effectively to ensure the temperature uniformity of the effective heating area.

The furnace shell of the well-type furnace is welded by section steel and high-quality steel plates, which can realize the sealing between the furnace cover and the furnace body, and a smoke exhaust device is installed on the upper part of the furnace shell.

The furnace bottom lining of the well-type furnace is built with lightweight fireclay bricks and heavy carburization-resistant bricks. The furnace wall lining adopts a composite lining structure: the refractory layer is made of lightweight fireclay bricks, and the insulation layer is made of ceramic fiber cotton or fireclay bricks; each layer is designed optimally. Stainless steel hooks are prefabricated in the refractory layer of the well-type heating furnace for the installation of resistance wires and resistance strips.

The heating devices are evenly arranged around the furnace lining wall. The high-temperature electric heating alloy strips of the well-type furnace are wound into a corrugated shape and distributed in each heating zone. The installation method ensures heating uniformity, service life, and high reliability, and facilitates installation and maintenance. Each heating zone of the well-type heating furnace is equipped with a thermocouple for temperature measurement and over-temperature alarm.

The furnace cover of the well-type furnace with heat preservation function can be hermetically matched with the furnace pot to ensure good sealing of the furnace atmosphere. An air collecting hood is installed at the lower part of the well-type heating furnace, which can be matched with the air guide cylinder. The circulating fan of the well-type heating furnace is installed on the furnace cover to enhance the uniformity of temperature and atmosphere. The furnace cover lifting and rotating mechanism of the well-type heating furnace is a cantilever-type axis transmission mechanism, and the furnace cover is equipped with a guiding device for lifting and guiding. The furnace cover sits on the ceramic fiber braided rope of the upper flange of the furnace mouth. An air guide hood matched with the air guide cylinder is installed under the heat preservation package of the cover body, and the air guide hood is hung on the flange-type panel of the cover body through multiple hanging rods. The automatic lifting and traveling structure of the furnace cover operates stably, with a service life of no less than 5 years.
